Greetings and welcome to our Third Annual Quartz Mountain Music Festival at Lone Wolf.  It is with great pleasure that I invite you again to an exciting event surrounded by the ‘magic’ of the Quartz Mountains.  It is having the world renowned guitarist Pepe Romero and first class performers in every instrument in the Quartz Mountain Music Festival Orchestra along with maestro Michael Palmer, that makes this year truly exciting.  While we are still working to lengthen the number of days and events in the Festival, as you will see, we have greatly expanded the quality, presentation, and the music.  Our success is somewhat of a mixed blessing.  Some of us, who live here locally, enjoy having almost a private performance.  But I do think it is our duty to share it with others from all over the area.  I hope you enjoy the music and the location.  There is truly ‘magic’ in these old granite mountains!

Over the years, it has been my great pleasure to work with the world renowned guitarist, Pepe Romero.  This summer we look forward to bringing this icon of the classical guitar world to Oklahoma for what will be an amazing weekend of music.  The Quartz Mountain Music Festival Chamber Players and Orchestra return this summer, to join Pepe in concert performing the dazzling Boccherini, Fandango quintet, the emphatic Rodrigo, Concierto de Aranjuez, surrounded by works of Mozart, Mendelssohn and others, superbly performed by world-class musicians.  Join us for two marvelous evenings of Chamber Music, Orchestra and Classical Guitar at the Quartz Mountain performing arts center.
